This hotel is only for those who want to lie by the pool and do nothing or lie by the pool and maybe go into town now and the, but know exactly where they want to go!
Great rooms (there's only four) large and airy with huge bathroom; good selection of TV channels, posturepedic beds. Clean pool, long enough to do laps. Friendly staff, minimal English; when we stayed only one staff member spoke English, and she wasn't very fluent. Asian breakfast better than Western - you need to ask the day ahead for what you want. Lunch and evening Asian meals good.
Twenty minutes drive from town; taxi drivers, tuk tuk drivers and tour operators have no idea where it is. No eating places within easy walking distance. Hotel charges bht150 (RM15) to take you into town, 150 to pick you up.
The owner only keeps staff for one month, then gets new ones; they receive no Hospitality training. Staff are not local and in consequence, don't know where places are in town. If the hotel doesn't have any bookings the owner also fires the staff to save wages (!!!!).
